    Five Kages

Post by Guest on Fri Aug 21, 2009 6:03 am

Hmm Well as you know in the Anime there are Five Main Kages.
A Kage (影; Literally meaning "Shadow") is the leader of one of the five most powerful Hidden Villages and generally are also the most powerful ninja in their respective villages. They are collectively known as the Five Kage (五影, Gokage). If a Kage has held their position for several decades, as was the case with the Third Hokage, younger ninja are likely to have become stronger than they are. In such cases, the Kage may retire and give the title to someone else; the title, once granted, is held permanently. This creates a case where there are two Kage at the same time, with only one of them actually active, as it was with the Third and Fourth Hokage. After the Fourth died, the Third came out of retirement.

The Kage stand equally with the rulers of their countries, oversee the activities of their villages, and are the leaders of ninja society. They typically are the ones who send the ninja teams out on their missions and make the decisions regarding the safety of the village. The five Kage are:

Then when i look at it here, There are also Five main Kages

    Swamp Kage - Sendohiru Uchiha
    Aurora Kage - Hirameku
    Valley Kage - Komi Yononoke
    Time Kage - Tsumi Azarashi
    Darkness Kage - Emanyeru Kouseitan'i

And when we split it like that it is easy (On my terms, may not be correct) To point out this
Swamp is a Earth Based (Mostly of one element)
Aurora is Water Based (Through the Ice mainly)
Valley is Wind Based (This is just my Guess)
Time is Lightning (Also just a guess)
Darkness Controls Fire (On my own Conclusion)

But that is just as the base elements, when you really look at it it seems like this
    Swamp=
    Earth, Water, Bugs

    Aurora=
    Light, Water, Wind, Ice

    Valley=
    Wind, Grass, Wood (My guess)

    Time=
Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Lightning, Minor time control

    Darkness=
    Fire, Shadow, Kenjutsu, Fuinjutsu.

So to cross what i am trying to say, should we work this into a council like the five kages?
    Making Aurora the Water Shadow
    Swamp the Earth Shadow
    Valley the Wind Shadow
    Time the Lightning Shadow
    and Darkness the Fire Shadow

Post what you think (Only Admins and Kages.)

Also since Ash is vacant, which could be where the hidden Council is

Then i also need to point out we need a nuetral party to help us.

The Monks would work well, and there leader Kaito favors no party in perticular, he would be a fair leader for the Ash, not a kage, just a political leader to help when we come to meetings.

    Now then, any comments?

Well Ash was there originally to be a unallied land so I agree. Im not sure about villages elements though, there's not really any fixed element for a village is there?

As for a meeting it would probably be the same as in the Manga. Im pretty sure unless there was reason for a meeting to take place it doesn't need to.

Btw Valleys commonly have streams, just saying... o-o...

Well, we didn't go with the traditional Naruto kage titles because we were trying to differentiate our site from others.

Also, like Nisha said, the villages don't have fixed elements, though for some reason, water users are drawn to Valley.

I'm sure that if we did have fixed elements, they would be based on the Kage's main element considering that's how the setup looks to be leaning towards.

I agree with the idea of a village council when it is needed in Ash. However the villages aren't really based on any one element in particular, and we shouldn't use the old kage labels on our villages.
