Description: Short green hair that falls to form a spiky rim around her head leaving a gap for her face. Large eyes lined up just above the bridge of her freckled nose. Varying clothing. (Wow shoker considering how repetitive outfits in anime should be.) A small Boomerang, each end about the size of a dagger, attatched to the left and right sides of her hips.

Personality: Generally high spirited. Stubborn. Caring.

She entered the maroon clad interior of the building. A defeated look in her squinted eyes. How could she have lost? Though try as she did no thought could counter, and this had sadly left Sparrow with no other choice. Her eyes scanned the horribly sticky atmosphere of "Crunchiez Pick" fast food restaurant as the stumpy boy next to her motioned for her to take a seat as he ordered the food.

Ewwwwww, he's even ugly when he orders chicken! This bet sucks. About five hours ago Sparrow had gotten into a arguement with one of the village girls about "loner-outta-townie folke" not being able to get a date. This had ended with a bet, that had ended in a blind date, which had ended up in a fast food restaurant with a plump boy with bad skin. I like his hair though She thought boredly. Atleast he isn't all bad.

A scream brought Sparrow's mind out of her daydream about messy hair. An angry voice was barking orders. The crowd got to their knees, hands behind their heads as the three thugs carrying a variety of weapons (A Katana, Nunchuks and a bow) All walked in looking menacingly at the short man behind the counter. Another command was ordered and the counter man whimpered and rushed trying to find the money to give them. But as the thugs were about to gain their winnings a high pitched piercing noise filled the air and the room turned to the door of the eatery.

"What villains are these!? Shouted the short girl wearing a scarf around their eyes, posing finger pointing accusingly as she yelled at the three thieves, each of which raised a eyebrow at the tiny person pointing at a lamp. "This act will go on no longer!" And she charged towards the thugs pulling back her fist ready to punch.

Though her attack may have been fierce Sparrow was all but helpless to the thugs push that sent her falling over on to the floor. As the opposing thug began to laugh Sparrow glared daggers through her scarf and rose on to one foot, her second going straight up between the mans legs and into an area that easily defeated the giant, who with a great "Argh!" fell backwards on to his tied up friends.

As Sparrow blindly readied another attack a familiar voice broke her wannabe-hero act. "Well for your first date it could have gone better. But tell me next time you want to play super hero, that way I can get there before the trouble starts" Said Sparrows grandmother in a voice that resembled a chuckle as she pulled the scarf-mask off of Sparrows face. " And that way I get to play too... Hajimi."

Bio: Prologue

Having had her mother die in her half a month premature birth Hajimi Okakuji was raised by her retired kunoichi grandmother Isshi. The two of them lived a little ways outside of a small town in Grain and lived relatively happy despite the lack of other company for a few years. It was then, when Hajimi 'Haji' Okakuji was eight, that her grandmother began to teach her the basic skills of the ninja lifestyle. Ever the energetic one learning proved difficult to the younger of the family and only grasped the basics of being a ninja. The only shinobi related things she did enjoy were her grandmothers tales of the epic battles that took place while she was her age, and of course, the very rare occasions that her grandmother would demonstrate the abilities ninja were capable of.

Nearly a year later. As a treat for finally managing to memorize half of the shinobi handsigns Isshi took her granddaughter out to a festival being held at the nearby town. The day ended with the two of them leaving a circus tent exchanging oppinions on the show they'd seen. It was the show that night that got Haji into high spirits about learning the acrobatic side of ninja. After much begging her grandmother changed the daily lessons to be more about moving about and dodging than the usuall chakra studies. The routine changed very little across the next few years, untill the day Isshi Okakuji vanished.

Bio

The noise of the morning awoke Hajimi from her usuall light sleep. With a yawn she rose up into a sitting position and blinked through her still half asleep eyes. Hajimi pushed her small body out of the bed and closed her open window so the cherping of the birds wouldn't annoy her any further. With another yawn her gaze fell on to the mirror.

The girl in the glass stared back through the messy green morning hair. Both sets of eyes looked eachothers outfits up and down. Still wearing the same baggy white pants from two days ago, though covered in mud. Still wearing the ugly blouse from two days ago, covered in wrinkles from two nights sleeping in it.

The day before Hajimi had awoken in the kitchen unable to remember the previous day, and after some solid searching she found that she was unable to find her grandmother as well. Besides her grandmothers broken short sword on the doorstep there was absolutely no sign of the older woman. Hajimi had left it to the next day to begin a better search, so with a huff she set outside again.

August 23rd
Dear (Reader of my) Diary, It's been three whole months! It's getting more and more fun everyday! The outdoors is a pretty cool place to explore. I feel a bit guilty though, there's still no sign of Gran. But we both know she's too strong to just die, I'm sure she'll turn up. I finally memorised all the ninja handsign things, it's easier when you try to learn by yourself. MI'm still keeping my name secret, it's more fun that way. Tommorow I think I'm gonna try and find another waterfall! Write to you soon!
