as long as the ninja has wide enough knowledge about the jutsu their using they do not require to preforme the nesasary hand signs while combining them with the the blades.

History: The "Raigo" was obtained by Kira during a mission in the village hidden in the valley before it was destroyed by Sorrow, on his way home he had stumbled over a container marked with the embel of Thor, Thor is the Norse god of thunde. while studieing the box he felt a calling within the deeps of his mind as if the item inside were hungry for blood.
Kira bit his thumb and let the blood drop into the lock of the box, and as if a invisible force forced the box open, the inside was revealed and from that day Kira wore the "Raigo" instede of using his katana.
